New ELITE Jet
We have a very special tire available for the start of this season in our ELITE series.
ELITE JET tires have 440 tpi casing, inflation pressure up to 220 psi, 20 mm wide, activated silica tread compound, and are super light. Intended for road racing, triathlon and time trials.
Here are the models and weights:
ELITE JET < 160g - tubular, 700C
ELITE JET 26" < 150g - tubular, 650C
C ELITE JET < 160g TEW - tubular clincher, 700C, actual weight 230g
C ELITE JET 26" < 150g TEW - tubular clincher, 650C, actual weight 220g
TEW stands for "tire equivalent weight", meaning for instance for 700C tire: tire is 160g and tube and rim tape are 70g, if compared to traditional open clincher.
